While working in an old basement, construction crew in Belgium accidently stumbled upon a treasure trove full of gold bars on in the month of August 2025.

They were working in the basement when they hit the wall and found old metal behind the wall. Upon further inspection, it was discovered that they had found a large quantity of precious metal.

The crew immediately reported it to the relevant authorities. Who quickly valued the find at a whopping 9 million Euros. 

Some are wondering if they should have even reported the find. It’s dated to the WW2 era and someone must have stashed it.

I wondered if this find would affect gold prices, but it turns out, it wont. The market will absorb it.

The crew is hoping to get a finder’s fee. They rightfully deserve to get at least something from this find, but will they?
